My inbox received some very strong opinions yesterday regarding the blog post on SuccessFactors. Some said I was “spot on”, while others suggested I was biased towards SuccessFactors. What many seemed to discount in my post was the main point that just because SuccessFactors is the “hottest” vendor in the space right now doesn’t necessarily mean they are the “best fit” vendor for every company. Neil Jensen does a great job in the Knowledge Infuser blog to highlight why he ultimately did not select SuccessFactors and chose another talent management vendor instead.
The goal of this blog is to create an open and honest dialogue. If you agree with me, feel free to comment. Anonymous comments are accepted (although more scrutinized to ensure a level of professionalism). This blog is usually one man’s informed opinion but its the insight from others that’s invaluable.
