Ever Seen a 646 lb. Catfish???

A_catfish_458_1  This is one of the most freakish stories I’ve read in a while.  I’ve dabbled in fishing (fly rod preferred) and can imagine how anyone could ever land a a 600+ lb. fish.  Even nylon rope and a wench would be difficult!

    I read on another site 60 children had been reported missing in the area this fish was found. This lake was apparently a well established swimming area. Makes me wonder if this catfish was involved in the missing children.

    I heard that this catfish is the current record holder. It’s so amazing knowing that it is the largest freshwater fish caught.
