Unilever Begins Multisourcing Approach

I have wrote recently about Unilever’s pending outsourcing arrangements for HR and F&A and the displeasure internally about such arrangements.  The balls are beginning to drop as Unilever announced today a procurement BPO relationship with IBM.  Sounds like Unilever is taking a shared risk approach to BPO, aligning multiple sourcing partners to fulfill their outsourced needs…quite a different approach from the "bundling" of towers we are hearing so much about recently.
