The Manager’s Role in Performance

Hci_logo_sm_1 For those that are not active in the Human Capital Institute, I would encourage you to do so.  Allan Schweyer and team have assembled some great resources and thought-leadership panels that bring together diverse groups of individuals to debate the topics de jour.  I recently particpated in our quarterly leadership panel to discuss the manager’s role in performance.  A transcript can be viewed here.

Jason - This briefing is great!!! (and I plan on quoting you heavily in the near future)

The role of the line manager on the process is too often ignored or overshadowed by focus on implementation and a lack of good roll-out. However, with the tools you talk about in here, managers are really very well directed in terms of how to pursue the creation of better employees.
